News about the IFIGENEIA project
On 11 November 2025, within the IFIGENEIA project, we hosted at the Faculty of Medicine in Ljubljana a renowned scientist from one of the leading Cancer Research Centres in Europe, Prof. Joao Seco, MD, PhD, DABR., who gave an inspiring lecture entitled
"Next generation technologies that can impact cancer therapy: FLASH, SFRT and TRNT".
Key points of the lecture:
- A brief overview of new technologies: FLASH, SFRT and TRNT,
- how they work and why they are promising for a wide range of tumours, and
- what personalisation possibilities they bring.
